Full-fledged series of ‘behind the scene’ videos for Sajid Nadiadwala’s ‘Highway’!

Usually, one comes across many experiences as a cast as well as crew of a movie that is in the making. All these experiences and the journey make the entire film. However, here it seems that the journey itself is the movie that is being made by Sajid Nadiadwala and Imtiaz Ali. Highway, being presented worldwide by Sajid and written, directed, as well as produced by Imtiaz is a road film. Such concept has never been brought to the Indian cinema before. Actors Randeep Hooda and Alia Bhatt are playing the lead roles in the film. They feature as two characters, which are completely opposite to each other in each way. Highway releases on 21^st February 2014, thereby kick-starting the season of releases for Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment Pvt. Ltd.

To promote the film in a correct way and also help people connect with the story, the duo Sajid Nadiadwala and Imtiaz Ali have come up with the concept of the Highway Diaries. This Highway Diaries is a full-fledged series of ‘behind the scene’ videos, which comes in an 18-20 episode package. These videos will be released on specific dates before Highway releases. Each episode will bring you a little more closer to the movie every time. It is probably about the experiences and fun the cast and crew of Highway had during the shoot that traverses through six north Indian states. However, one should not mistake it as the first look of the film because it is definitely not. The videos are just about the actual experiences that have nowhere been shown in the movie.

Giving more information about the film and Highway Diaries, director Imtiaz Ali says, “I have never seen a film being as influenced by the incidents of its making as Highway. These adventures of the north Indian road journey have many stories to tell. We bring these to you in The Highway Diaries!”
